Kaya needed a place for her thoughts. A secure, private space where she could write freely — without the noise of the internet, without accounts, without anyone peering in.
Every note-taking app out there wanted her data, her email, her trust in some server far away. So I built her something different. Something that lives entirely on her own computer. Something that asks nothing but her words.
Note Pixie is that place. A single HTML file — no installs, no accounts, no cloud, no tracking. Just a beautiful little workspace that opens in any browser and saves everything locally. Your notes never leave your machine.
It has node-based workspace editing with connections, checklists, rich text, dark mode, import/export, and everything a wandering mind needs to capture ideas. Every feature was designed with Kaya in mind — because she deserved a tool as beautiful as her thoughts.

Note Pixie stores all data locally in your browser's localStorage. No data is ever transmitted to any server, collected, logged, or shared. The application contains no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking pixels, and no external network requests (aside from optional CDN-loaded libraries used for Word document import/export). Your notes are yours alone.
